Driving with Dementia

According to the Alzheimer's Association, Alzheimers is the 6th leading cause of death.  For a typical driver, the demands on the road can include split attention, recall, and problem solving.  

 

The Alzheimer's Association has tips for dealing with the issue early enough.  

  1. Have the Conversation Early
  2. Plan Ahead
  3. Look for signs of unsafe driving
